Matthew David Sahagian
I am currently finishing my fourth year of Sheridan College's Bachelor of Film and TV program. My experience in other other creative fields prior to filmmaking includes over a decade of experience as an illustrator, painter, and animator for multiple different mediums (2D hand drawn and stop motion).
Though my primary focus is work as a director of photography, I have also worked as a variety of roles on different projects projects, such as a 1st and 2nd AC, gaffer/electric, grip, PA, etc. This as well has given me experience with a multitude of equipment on set, including extensive work with the Canon C300 Mark II and the ARRI ALEXA LF. My secondary field of interest is video editing, and I use my knowledge of how footage is effectively cut together to guide the way I shoot films, keeping both stages of production in mind to ensure each project feels cohesive and purposeful in construction. I have even written and directed projects, all of my experience combined giving me a well rounded grasp of each step in the filmmaking process. |
